Well everyone, I notice it's nearly time to start thinking legitimately about Christmas. Once again, time has gone by without me doing a great deal of blogging, and a lot of the blogging I did do was negative rather than positive. Mainly, as those of you who know me are aware, I've been busy with my new academic life. In fact, I've started a new blog up as part of the LitSciMed group over on wordpress, which can be found here. This has nothing to do with music and many fewer jokes than this blog - in fact, all it will have in common with this blog is that it's barely ever going to be updated. Not all of my resources have been directed this way. I have taken a new song ('Life in the Slow Lane') on a couple of live outings, and another one, as yet untitled, is in the late stages of writing. Gimana Ya???
UN aka. Ujian Nasional akhir-akhir ini agak sedikit mengundang kontroversi. Mulai dari isu yang mengatakan akan diajukannya waktu UN (dan memang ternyata bukan isu, karena hal iti, walalupun dengan amat sangant berat hati bagi saya untuk mengucapkannya : ADALAH KENYATAAN!!!) sampai dengan isu bahwa akan ditiadakannya UN (yang dengan berat hati juga saya katakan bahwa : PELAKSANAAN KEBIJAKAN INI GAGAL TOTAL!!!). Bagi saya dan sebagian murid (mungkin dapat dikategorikan sedikit), hal ini mungkin tidak berpengaruh sama sekali. Mengapa? Karena, ada tidaknya UN, tetap saja seluruh pelajar di Indonesia tetap ikut Ujian. Karena di belakang UN, tetap saja ada US dan UAS yang menanti kami semua. Selain itu, menurut saya pribadi, saya lebih suka diadakan UN. Mengapa? Karena JUJUR, saya yakin soal yang diberikan guru-guru saya di sekolah JAUH lebih sulit daripada soal UN (terutama Bahasa Inggris) Tapi, bagi sebagian murid di daerah, saya yakin hal ini akan berpengaruh besar pada mereka....
